All the technology used in our factory is designed to minimise any waste from the process. With digital printing, only the exact amount of colour needed is applied to the fabric. There is no left-over colour in screens and pipework as you would have with a conventional printing process. Our print process uses the latest pigment printing technology which does not need to washed off afterwards. This saves both water and the energy needed to dry the fabric afterwards. There is no waste fabric created during the setting up of a design as you would have with a traditional printing process. Our printing starts and stops instantly, in the same way as you would print a photograph on an inkjet printer at home. Most of our fabrics are woven in the UK to minimise the distance the fabric has to travel to our factory. |
