Fabrics from Wales for The Prince of Wales
Welsh Fabric Company Elanbach has supplied printed fabrics for the decoration of the new Carmarthenshire residence of HRH The Prince of Wales and HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.
On an official visit to Wales Their Royal Highnesses visited Elanbach’s Design Studio, Shop and Print Works at Llangoed Hall.
Elanbach was delighted to work with internationally renowned interior designer Annabel Elliot who was looking to create a calm and welcoming interior scheme for public and private rooms on the Llynywormwood estate. Annabel was able to choose from Elanbach’s extensive design archive as the fabric company’s innovative printing technology means designs are never out of print and bespoke colour variations are easily produced.
Designs and colourways were tastefully mixed and matched from six collections edited by the legendary decorator Tom Parr and designer and colourist Regine Burnell, wife of Sir Bernard Ashley the owner of Elanbach.
Designs for the three-bedroom farmhouse near Llandovery fall into three harmonious groups. Casella by Tom Parr is coordinated with Florence Marble and Florence Stripe by Regine Burnell. Designs taken from the Dharamsala Collection are Dharamsala Paisley, Bouquet Stripe and Simla Motif, all by Regine Burnell. Colonia Green (from the Florence Collection) beautifully complements the moss green colourways of Casella and echoes the Jacobean style of Isabel.
All designs were printed on medium weight natural linen available from Elanbach at £35 per metre. Also available on Bleached Linen, Fine Cotton and Cotton Satin.
Enquiries are welcome.
